Directions to Glen Harry Game Reserve:
The nearest regional airport is Port Elizabeth (approximately 3.5 hours drive from the reserve) which has regular connections with Johannesburg and Cape Town international airports as well as other regional centres. From Port Elizabeth take the R75 to Jansenville and Graaff-Reinet. At Graaff-Reinet take the N9 towards Middelburg. It is now approximately 45 kilometres to the Reserve. Some 25 kilometres from Graaff-Reinet there is a branch in the road that turns off left to Nieu Bethesda. Opposite turn right and follow the dirt road to Glen Harry Game Reserve. Call 040 555 0056 from here to advise of imminent arrival as cell phone signal will deteriorate from here. For those with 4x4s who wish to traverse the river crossing themselves to the accommodation, covered carports are conveniently located. All other guests arrive by one of the Reserve's game viewers.
